TV Channel Overview
Syria TV (تلفزيون سوريا) is an Arabic-language Syrian television channel operated by Fadaat Media.
Based in Istanbul, Turkey, it now broadcasts from both Istanbul and Damascus,
Syria, with a focus on Syrian affairs and audiences inside the country
and abroad.
News bulletins, reports, interviews, and discussion programs follow political, economic, and social developments across Syria. The schedule also covers culture, public life, community issues, and stories concerning displacement and the Syrian diaspora, while regional and international events are addressed when they affect Syria or Syrian communities. This gives the channel a broad public-affairs scope extending beyond breaking news.
Fadaat Media launched Syria TV in 2018, when the channel began operating from Istanbul. Following political changes in Syria in late 2024, the network expanded its operations to Damascus alongside its Istanbul base. Syria TV remains part of Fadaat Media, whose television services also include Al Araby TV and Al Araby 2.
