Overview
Tanzania Safari Channel is a 24-hour television channel that broadcasts
tourism-related programs. It is owned and operated by Tanzania Broadcasting
Corporation (TBC), the government-owned broadcaster headquartered in Dar
es Salaam.
It was launched in 2018, under the support of Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Authority (NCAA), Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), Tanzania
Tourism Board (TTB), and other organizations. The channel focuses on not
only wildlife but also historical sites and ruins, cultural tourism, marine
parks, and beaches.
